As I look at the date it gets me excited as the so called "ber" months are here not only because its nearing christmas but it marks the month of September!
What so special about September you ask?
Well, because its the month Playful Kiss was aired 2 years ago!
Yup! Its been 2 years since Playful Kiss grace the small screen in Korea!
But for me, it feels like just yesterday when I fell inlove with Playful Kiss,
Kim Hyun Joong and of course Jung So Min!
I vividly remember how I laugh with Oh Hani's antics
how I got irritated with Baek Seung Jo's indifference with Oh Hani
how I adore Mama Baek's romantic plans for Han and Seung Jo
how I like Eun Jo's insight even though he's a kid
how I admire Bong Joon Gu's love for Oh Hani
how I approved Hera's straight forward attitude
how the Hani and Appa bonding tug my heart
how I cheer with Hani with her friends
how I love that in the end Seung Jo can't live with Hani by his side
Actually I could just go on and on and on about the things that I love Playful Kiss
because we have so many of them!
But I think you all knew that because same as I am, you also fell inlove with them!
When ever I feel sad or lonely just few scenes from PK and I just could not help but smile
Playful Kiss gives me reasons to smile, gives me views on having hope, believing in faith, it also showed that hard work do paid off and that love has its time and reason.
I have mentioned this I think hundred times already
but I'm gonna say it again, Playful Kiss is my ultimate drama love
Playful Kiss has been a wonderful part not only of my k-drama life
but also my real life, as it it helps me to gain new friends, met new wonderful people
and experienced life changing events!
I considered Playful Kiss as a blessing in disguise as it leads
me to love Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min more!
I promise to myself to continue to support and love them until the end!
And Playful Kiss will always have a special spot in my heart
and I do hope for you guys its also the same!
And by the way PKissers, since its Playful Kiss 2nd year anniversary,

I’m still amazed that my favorite series is in a language I don’t even understand. I remember searching online for some other movie when I found a Korean site that had a lot of free steaming dramas. And it was only out of curiosity that I browsed through some of the pictures. The one that caught my eye is the same picture at the top of this post. It looked light-hearted and fun. I had never watched a Korean drama, had never heard of “Itazura na Kiss,” and really didn’t know what to expect. I must admit that at first I thought I was watching an advertisement, so I clicked ahead, and clicked ahead, trying to figure out if there was anything interesting enough for me to keep watching. And then the moment happened that pulled me in: Seung Jo utterly rejected Ha Ni! I felt so bad for her that I had to watch just to see how she would cope. Well, 16 episodes and 7 post-production videos later, I not only had my answer, but I had fallen in love with the girl, the story, and the wonderful way the drama unfolded.
ReplyDeleteI remember that even though I would have to work the next day, I’d be up to the early hours trying to take in one more show. I was actually sad when the last episode was over.
Today, I realize it’s not really the story that keeps me watching (over and over). It’s the relationship between Seung Jo and Ha Ni. I like how uncontrollably persistent she is and the way he eventually warms up to her. I just like them together. To me they are like comfort food for the eyes.
I guess I’m hoping too much for a few more YouTube webisodes.
Happy 2 years PK! :) This is one of the dramas that I've watched that became my favorite- after Full House. Though the plot was not as promising as the other Kdramas I've watched (but I got related to it- first loves and everything haha), what keeps me watching this show is the stellar acting of Jung So Min, the improvement in Kim Hyun Joong's acting chops, and of course their chemistry! Again, after Full House, I 've never felt this kind of chemistry until PK. And because of what I've felt, I began to ship them! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd because of PK, I started to love them individually, I am now an addition to HJ's fangirls, and at the same time girl crushing SoMin! :)) I just love how she attacks her roles, and her fashion sense is interesting. :) I'm going to continually support them, whether individually or together. I pray that they will collaborate again for another project. :) And more projects for both of them in the future! :)

ReplyDeleteI maybe fee too exaggerated cause when I'm reading this post and find out my self crying. not only because the story line in this drama which full of massages inside it, but after joining this fandom of hyunmin or minjoong, I also found it that all of you are very welcome, and very kind hearted.

there are many new dramas nowadays... But.. I wonder why i easily get bored with it.. but when it comes to PK..... No matter how many times i watch it, i never get bored!!! I swear you, I NEVER! After watching it for the nth times, i will re play the bts of PK on my phone.. Every night!!
Not just that, bcos of my infinite love for PK and HyunMin, i found new hobbies.. Yes.. My new hobbies now are.. Reading HyunMin fanfiction, Writing HyunMin fanfiction, Posting Lengthy Comments on HyunMin fanfiction, Editing HyunMin photos, Making New Friends in all HyunMin sites(asianfanfics, facebook, soompi, here, and Kathysbench) :D :D

this drama is the first drama that i keep watching and watching again and as a result i can memorize each episode of PK

Happy happy 2nd anniversary to my most beloved kdrama - PLAYFUL KISS and my most favorite couple - BSJ and OHN. It has been two years but I'm still watching PK over and over again and each time my heart would still ache whenever OHN was bullied. These 2 years I have grown to love both Somin and Hyun Joong more and more and I hope both of them will have another opportunity to work together, be it drama or CF.
