On the August 22nd broadcast of MBC‘s hit sitcom ‘Stand By‘, ZE:A‘s Siwan left viewers’ hearts fluttering.
In the sitcom, Siwan has a crush on Jung So Min, and he finally stepped up and followed through with his feelings as he sweetly planted kisses on her forehead, cheek, and lips. This was a big moment in the drama for both.
When asked about if this was his first kiss, Siwan replied, “Actually, my first kiss was with Kyung Po (actor who plays another character in the sitcom). It was an unforgettable first kiss. In the future if there is another kiss scene, I think I would prefer it if it was with a girl.”
Thinking of Jung So Min’s fans, Siwan continued, “I will forever be apologetic to Jung So Min’s fans watching, and I will work that much harder to make ‘Standby’ that much better.”

ReplyDeletesiwan was so kind and humble...for asking apology to the jung so min fans..but for me... it's only scenes from standby sitcom. the kiss was so gentle and they act perfect...more power to the sitcom. ilike siwan than kiwoo for minmin.>>>hyunmin forever <<<

ReplyDeletelol why need to apology, siwan? if you do it for this sitcom then its ok not to send apologies to jung so min's fans. we will understand it :) keke. Or maybe, is there another meaning in your apologetic? lol.
ReplyDeleteWhy is he apologizing? Did something happen? I hope it is not just because he kissed her. If so why apologize and make a big deal? He is an actor and she is an actress, they are going to kiss people for their job.
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode but not the standby characters of somin and siwan in a romantic relationship. Mainly because she does not want him in that way so why force her? I hope she owns a pasta shop at the end of this.
Can you please tell me where can I watch this drama with eng sub?

ReplyDeleteI think an apology from Siwan mean is he afraid if the scene with Somin isn't good or don't satisfy the audience (acting, chemistry, or etc about Standby). it seems to me to interpret the words that Siwan.
ReplyDeleteI think Siwan apologises mainly bcos he knows that there are a lot of Hyunmin fans around. So, as not to anger these fans, he apologised. But he need not apologised. Cos we Hyunmin fans are mature and understanding enough to differentiate that this is just part of the job, and he should work towards perfecting any intimate scenes (if any, in the future) with So Min to make the show more delightful to watch.
